WiFi in the City of Sydney

Since 2015, Councillors have been requesting for the City to provide free public WiFi in Sydney. WiFi has become an integral part of the way people conduct business, connect with each other and stay informed and it should be a priority to provide this in a global city.

In recent years, Inner West, Waverley and Woollahra councils have all introduced free WiFi in key precincts and Sydney has been dragging behind however, I am pleased to announce that the City will finally be looking implementing free public WiFi by mid 2021.

I am really pleased that I could bring this important motion to Sydney and I will update you as soon as we receive more information.
