Congratulations to Narelle Barker AM on being recognised as a Member of the Order of Australia in the Queens Birthday honours list for her significant contribution to education and the community.
Narelle has served on the board of SchoolAid for 11 years and is the current interim chair. Narelle does so much more for our community with roles such as board member of Christian Community Aid, Rotary Club Chair, Rotary driver training for youth, setting up a running a regional youth awards program in Sydney, leading a church community group that supports people in need, and so much more that most will never hear about. Prior to “retiring” Narelle spent her professional career leading school communities as a primary school head in both the public and private education sectors in SA and NSW where she served on state and national associations with distinction, even receiving Life Membership to the NSW Chapter of IPSHA. We are so proud of you Narelle!
